Growing up in this remote corner of the Austrian Alps, Susanne Kaufmann was surrounded by plants that flourish under pressure — adapting to harsh light, shifting seasons, and extreme conditions. Her grandmother introduced her to their healing properties early. That knowledge never left her.

When she launched the brand in 2003, it was this inheritance — passed through generations, rooted in place — that guided every decision.

Susanne has long believed that the most effective skincare draws from two sources: the precision of modern science and the intelligence of nature. Alpine botanicals — plants proven by tradition and supported by research — sit at the heart of every formula.

As the fifth-generation owner of Hotel Post in Bezau, Susanne began developing her own treatments for the spa — formulas that had to work, not just feel luxurious. That founding discipline remains.

Today, the spa at Hotel Post is a globally recognised wellness destination. Its treatments, and the thinking behind them, continue to inform every product in the range.
